starter bad?? helllp

Car is acting up, its not cranking like it should. I have bought a new battery, cleaned all the grounds/ bolts on the starter and cleaned and made sure the battery cables are tight. The alternator seems fine, car runs fine when its started up no issues.

sometimes it starts up good but other times it will act like the battery is very low, repatitive clicking. Sometimes after like 10s of the clicking it will start. Starts up fine with a boost. I have a brand new battery, which was tested and is 100%

The last thing i think could be the problem is a bad starter?? need some help guys thanx

If its clicking than its an issue with the battery most likely or that side of things. sometimes I found with new batteries you have to drive around a bit for them to get the juices flowing. Do you have another battery you can test with?

i have put on 3 diff batteries, all tested and working. Connections are all clean and tight as well, went over the grounds too. I dunno what to check for anymore

When its clicking I would put my avr machine on it. Measure voltage and amperage. See what's going on.

take your starter and battery over to part source, they'll test them for you for free.
