got my build boosted b under the hood almost finished.

got full 3" mandrel stainless exhaust done. from the cat back it's the vibrant 3" system. very very solid setup...

Thought you were selling your ride?

How is the vibrant exhaust? I wanted to pickup the same 3" you have, but I was out of town that weekend, and they can't do rainchecks


Is it annoyingly loud?

I know that a 3" exhaust isn't going to be quiet, but hopefully it doesn't sound like a mis-firing chainsaw.

no scrapes...

and the 3" isnt that loud because of the turbo..

my del sol had 2.5", it was fine with the turbo engine. when we took it out, the same exhaust with a d series engine with a dc sports header, sounded ricey as ****.

we fired it up, sounds nice and low thus far..so, we'll see...

and it was getting towed, because we didnt have the intercooler fitted at that point. it was being towed back from the exhaust shop.

i have a an ef and have a b16a and have a type r header 4 2 1 and have cutom bent 2.5 " exhoust and its really loud i am wondering what i should do to make it quiet again? any suggestions?

put a large resonator on it and a quiet muffler

turbo quiets down the exhaust too.
you should do that. it helps.
