rpms on b20/vtec

is 7500rpm safe? i hear if you rev it to high you can blow the block, someone tell me whats up

stock bottom end = 8000 rpm

built bottom end = 9800 - 10,000 +

hmmm yea it really depends on a bunch of things, b16\18 can easily rev more then the b20 bottom so you really need to just take her easy..or get the b20 modified I think 8000rpm once in a while is fine...but I wouldn't smash that everyday all day..like you could with a b16\18 bottom
