Which oxygen sensor jack is the primary?? **Check the photo**

I just installed this but wanted to be positive thats it's "A".

I dont have/need a secondary sensor at the cat.

Engine light already has to be reset (and Yes I will do this at some point).

Thanks in advance

Plug it into one, if car runs like pile of cr4p, switch...lol that's what I did on a car few weeks back. Mixed em up during a swap and it was obd2 harness with obd1 engine/ecu...

This way, ecu won't see an o2 sensor if you plug it into the wrong one.

Will throw a cel right away, and the car was idling all lumpy once warm and could smell gas out the exhaust. Easiest thing is to check cel. Just clear what you have now by removing the radio/backup fuse, wait for few seconds and reinstall. Then idle the car and see if o2 code pops up. If you dont know how to check cel, just google, very simple with a paper clip.

p72 is obd1, they only used 1 o2 sensor, so no, you do not need the secondary o2 sensor

ok so i found wire colours in the service manual. Figured its tcc and obd2 car, safe to choose an ek lol. --clip-- is for reference which way you are looking at the plug.

primary
--------clip-------
wht ------- grn/black
blk/yel ----- blk/wht

secondary
----------clip-------
wht/red ------ yel/red
blk/wht ------ blk/wht

So from what i can make out of the picture, socket a is primary. Just double check the colours.
