mini me help
i have a sohc zc 1.5 bottom end with a y8 head when i start it it dieds acouple times as i start it the car shakes as if the motor is about to blow if i give it gas it dieds right away once it goes over 1000rpm it starts to jump up n down once heated up the car runs stronger then the old 1.5 head alot more tonque at lower rpm but feels like its not getting as much gas i have a cam gear ,b20 injectors ,intake ,header ,full 2.5 pipe endding at a type r muffler i played with the dizzy n cam gear got the car running alittle better i dont know what dizzy am using it was the dizzy that made the car run better then the others i had around i bought a brand new z6 dizzy but the holes didnt line up feels like the car need more gas n it already drinks alot of gas motor is in a 93 civic dx i did not do any wiring still running stock 1.5 ecu plz someone help want me car running mint

I hope i can help.
- is your timing ok?
- if you put vtec head on a non-vtec block, you have to get a vtec ecu and wire up the vtec to your vtec ecu.
- get some fresh spark plugs.
- i dont know if the b20 injectors are too big for you mini-me, i suggest get the 1.5 or 1.6 injectors(i prefer 1.6 injectors since you have y8 head) and install it and see if that makes any difference.
- also, if you can get a y8 vtec dizzy, get it and install it.
do this and see what you get.
Zeeman is the best guy to get some help.
- is your timing ok?
- if you put vtec head on a non-vtec block, you have to get a vtec ecu and wire up the vtec to your vtec ecu.

did you set the timing (with the dizzy) using a timing light?
The b20 injectors are the same size (240cc) as the stock DX injectors so that shouldn't matter, but b20 injectors are obd2, whereas your car is obd1, so the b20 injectors won't plug in b/c obd1 and obd2 injectors use a different style plug. Unless obd2 injector clips were wired onto your engine harness and maybe theres something wrong with the wiring (if its not soldered shrink wrapped).
Or maybe you just have the ignition timing really far retarded, that robs a car of power and can make it run a little funny.
Maybe the cam/crank timing is off, did you put the timing belt on yourself? Did you line everything up properly?
