intakes

i have a 2005 honda civic i just bought and i dunt kno wat kind of intake to throw into it for maximum power.....i kno it wont give me much but wut do all you think is the best?? thanks

AEM, Injen, Fujita are popular brand names or go to ebay to buy cheap

Its all the same crap. CAI, or SRI, it really makes no difference in the D17.

I'd just throw a generic brand intake in there.

is that yur blue car under yur post and if it is my car looks exactly the same as that one with out rims or anything

What he said + swap the filter that comes in the kit with a K&N filter.

My favourite retail intakes are the Secret Weapon intakes. They have been proven to outperform all others.

On your car however, an intake wont do much because the intake manifold is very restrictive. So any gains you might have gotten from an intake will be diminished by the IM just after it.

Look into swapping your IM out for a D16Y8 intake manifold. You can even get an aftermarket one if you so wish, and then add on the intake to truly free up the air flow.

the intake alone might not make much difference....but together with a header and exhaust...the numbers will definitely be higher.

overall i agree...intakes make more sound than performance.
