locate your throttle cable, there should be a set screw. crank it in abit. Ive never had to do this on a civic but have played with my idle lots on my 350chev im not sure if its the same kinda set up but its worth a look

So if you're not sure why are you telling him to do it? No wonder I have to fix so many cars that have been hacked.

DONT touch your idle screw (unless it looks like its been tampered with) Even then, there is a proper way to set it and you have to go through a whole process to re-learn the idle.

Anyways, if its dying when you give it gas, it has nothing to do with the idle system. Check for weak spark, weak compression, codes, things of that nature.

even at that you failed. There's a whole relearn process you got to do and you have to unplug a certain sensor and set it to a specific range.

I'm just fed up with people coming to me with these hondas that have been hacked up sideways up the ass, around the corner, down the block and then some. Then they say "oh my buddy told me to do this" or "i read this online".

And i KNOW zeeman the mayor of pos-ville agrees with me.
