Alternator/Speed Sensor Fuse Issue

Alternator/Speed Sensor Fuse Issue
This has sorta been discussed before but I want to go more into detail. This is whats happening:
I have a 1998 Honda Civic Sedan (auto), While driving one day The engine light came on and the speedometer started acting up, the car started jerking and the headlights/interior lights started pulsating.
The codes I pulled were: 501, 420, 135, and 141.
135 and 141 are both the o2 sensors, and 501 is speed sensor and 420 is catalyst system efficiency below threshold.
I replaced the alternator and battery and the cat/02 and then changed all the fuses that were blown.
The car ran fine for one day then it started having the same problem with the lights pulsating and the car running rough.
Alot of people said that its a short somewhere. But the short has to be to do with the wires running from the alternator to the batter or charging unit etc..correct? And they have said that the wire is usually behind the intake manifold. Problem is you can't access the wires unless you take off the manifold and then get to them.
While the car is running the battery shows a voltage of: around 13/14.
How do you check the alternator?
What else can I do or what can I check?
The "alternator/speed sensor" fuse under the dash keeps blowing...so when i replace it the car runs ok but then when it blows the car runs rough.
Any ideas? I want to fix this now because it's making me mad lol but if im not able to i'll take it to a shop.
Thanks for all the help!

The problem you're having is exactly that of a short where from the factory the wiring harness rubs on a part of the manifold and eventually wears the wire sheath off and grounds out onto the manifold. The VSS, o2 sensors and alternator charge wire are all run on the same circuit which is why they're all affected by this issue.
You can fix it by wrapping the exposed wires with electrical tape. Honda actually put out a TSB recall on this.

Its hard to do but it doesnt require you to remove the intake manifold.
