help needed. speedometer needle flutter

speedometer needle flutters (rises and falls) while driving. is this a loose vaccum line or worse? any input greatly appreciated. thx

yes it does. no other problems. car drives fine

yeah

only the owners are allowed to make the money around here

anyways.. its probably your VSS. The proper way to test the system is to data log your VSS and see if the signal is bouncing around. Then you can eliminate weither its the sensor or a wiring fault

it could be the speed gear in the tranny mine does the swme thing then stops workin alltogether does the engine light come on? and does it work fine when u first start the car up after a while then later itstarts to flutter?
