Fouled plugs in cylinder 3/4

Fouled plugs in cylinder 3/4

I changed the plugs and oil in my new beater(96hatch) and I noticed that cylinder 3/4 especially 4 looks fouled. I did a compression test and got 180 across the board which is stellar for a d16y7. The motor is bone stock. Any ideas what could cause me to burn rich in only 2 cylinders? I was thinking maybe the injectors are going south. Any ideas??

check the resistance on your ignition wires? what kinda fuel economy are you getting?

Fuel economy is average. I'll check the resistance tonight at some point. What resistance should I be getting?Thanks.

Rule of thumb is 7kohm per foot. I think honda says 10k per foot or something like that. But I usually go with 7k.

I would also suspect a leaking injector. If you have the proper tools you can test it (a fpr) or if you want to really get fancy a injector pulse tester and fpr will determine if its the injector or not.

^^ or you could take the injectors out, then put them back in diff't order, and then see if the fouling condition moves to the cylinders where you put the suspected bad injectors.
