Hey everyone!
I'm just testing the water to see what kind of offers I can get on my D16A1/Y8 mini-me complete swap. It's got a D16A1 bottom end with a D16Y8 V-tec head. It's performance chipped and V-tec engages at 5000rpm. This engine pulls very hard for a SOHC!!! It has been a great motor for me but it's time to move up to bigger and better things! The motor only has about 7000 kms on the new build and runs extremely well!!! Very clean motor! It's in my 92 eg hatch now which I drive on a regular basis but I'm looking to do a DOHC swap soon! This complete swap comes with engine, wiring, 5 spd tranny and chipped ecu...plug and play!
Please let me know what you think I can get for this setup!

I would never pay 800 for it.

Something's worth is not the same as what it would actually get.

A realistic selling price would be $600 if it comes comppppplete with everything and just the motor and trans probably 250-300

he did say what he could get for it, so i assumed he was talking about selling it

i know it's a lil off topic but if a whole sohc vtec engine and extras goes for 600 how much would it be to get a "mini me" (y8 head on my d16y7 bottom) done?

mini me has like 2 points of compression more than a normal vtec sohc. not worth the extra money imo. i wouldn't spend more then 500 bucks for a sohc swap.
