Using a high mileage conventional oil

I have an 09 civic with well over 200000 miles on it. Is there a benefit in using high mileage conventional 5w20 oil. Or should I stick with the manual and steer away from synthetic blends. I was using valvoline high mileage synthetic blend when bought the car 7 months ago. And went back to 5w20 regular when I seen the car wasn't leaking oil. But burnt a bit of oil according to the dip stick changing it at 5000km.
