Coolant leak...

My GF inherited a '91 Civic recently and it seems to have developed a coolant leak. I don't know a lot about these cars, but the leak seems to be coming from a small port in the engine just behind the alternator... Is this common? Could this be a frost plug or something? Or maybe something to do with the water pump?

Any info very much appreciated.

Yuuuuuuup. Water pump. Pretty common on older hondas. Unforunately its not that easy of a task, but if you get that crank pulley off easily then its smooth sailing.

hahah yeah I busted quite a few tools getting the crank bolt off... even broke a ratchet in addition to a socket, extension, and two 1/2 inch to 3/8 adapters.

Thanks, Guys. That's what I feared it would be... Dropped by a mechanic's and he told me the same thing. He quoted me about $350-375 for timing belt and water pump as well as some assorted seals and varia. Does that sounds reasonable?

Thats about average. $300 IMO is a really good deal. $370-400$ is about right.
