CEL light

Well about 6 months ago I installed a vibrant header and a magnaflow high flow cat on my b16. I drove it without any problems for about 2 weeks before I got the cel light on. The code is P0108 Manifold absolute pressure /barmetric pressure circuit high . Now in the past on a different car I had issues with the cel and a high flow cat but the code came up that there was an issue with emissions (The cat specifically). This time its a map sensor problem which I believe deals with fuel, intake manifold pressure, rpm and barometric .
Basically my question is more than likely is it the cat or the header that cause the code or did it go on for a different reason , where should I start looking ?
Any advice would be great !

The cat has nothing to do with map sensor throwing a code. Just a coincidence.

If you can manage to take the 2 Philips screws out without stripping them you could clean the sensor and seal it tight on there.

MAP sensor check:

Key on engine off: check for 5V reference signal and ECM ground. The remaining wire on the harness connector is for signal.

If you have power and ground, replace the sensor. You can't clean a MAP sensor, so don't waste your time. Replace it.

Checked wire harness for power and got 5 v. Picked up new sensor for $45 installed and removed logged code... cel gone ! :)
Turns out it was really just was a coincidence
Thanks for your help

Well after replacing the map sensor Friday afternoon the car has been running fantasic! I was on my way home tonight and the f****ing cel light just came back on
I let a friend borrow my scanner so I will have to wait till tomorrow afternoon to see what code popped up.
Chances are its the same code (P0108) , anyone else have any suggestions if this is the case???
