Car won't start now
last night i took the car out and i had to stop at the gas station to get something so i turn off the car and go to the gas station and get what i need, when i come back to the car and try to start it, as i turn the key to the position to start the car, it doesnt do anything ( didnt have a clicking noise ), i kept trying to start it for 20 mins but nothing (everything else worked like my deck + head lights + interior light, so i had to get it towed to my house, so i let it sit over night to see if it would start in the morning, i tryed but still nothing, i had a volt meter laying around so i decided to hook it up to my deck to see what volts i was getting, well it says exactly 12 when the key is in the second position ( deck + interior lights ) and when i turn it to the third position which the car starts, it goes down from 12 volts, i also checked the fuses under the hood and nothing so im going to check the interior fuses tonight, check anyone give me any input, anyways the car is a Acura 1.6EL (D16Y8)

If you are not getting any clicking noises then you might have a bad main relay. Either test the relay if you know how or swap it for a known working one. It is up under the dash on the pasengerside (take the glove box out or down) and its mounted to the side of the dash.

This use to happen to me when I owned NEONs and also happened to my friends 99 GSR integra and i fixed it both times. First thing I always do is check battery terminals. After that move to the starter, there should be a little wire that goes to the starter solenoid to tell it when to engage and turn over! HOWEVER if your a little ricer such as myself and drive the car like a nut, hitting bumps ina lowered car it can pop that wire off easy, I've seen it happen many times. And most people never think to check the wires to the starter, like my friend who almost had it towed, till i spent 4 minutes on the car and saw the problem. Anyways if theres no click at the starter with 12V battery working, then its the starter. A starter relay accually going is unlikely, I would say it would be the starter soleniod itself or the wire that connects to it poped off.
GOOD LUCK!
