It's the internal coil in the distributer just replace the distributer and you will be on your way that's the number one Honda along with fuel pump relays

Chops3266 my best guess is you have low voltage to your fuel injection box

no spark change ur dizzy it should work...not sayin that a bad dizzy is the only reason that would cause no spark but id say is the most common

That's called the main relay and the reason it starts after you kick it is because it trips the fuel pump better change it soon before your lucky kick runs out

Ive alomost run into the same prob and it ended up bein my dizzy, had to replace it twice, usually cause of the igniter in it. But the car wouldnt bumb start either so it is prolly your main relay. Funny story the last time my car wouldnt start i was about the change the dizzy cause no spark and it ended up being 5 wires at the coolant temp sensor on the thermo housing had "come apart", they almost looked cut.

Yeah For most of you that dont know and or are new at this if you ever get in your car and try to start it and notice that its taken a little longer to fire up that normal your distributor will most likely crap out in the next couple trys
