what more than the d15b engine code and 2 vtec solenoids do you need to identify the engine?

You'll have a bitch of a time getting the right ecu for this though.

neither the p07 (92-95 civic VX d15z1) or p08 (92-95 obd1 JDM d15b) is the correct ecu.

3 stage vtec is different from vtec e....originally werent u asking about 3stage? the 3 stage is on the jdm d15b but there were two jdm d15bs one with 3 stage and 1 with vtec-e.

I was origionally asking about 3stage vtec. thats the title of the thread..

I want the 3-stage because i know its great on gas because it runs on 12 valves under 2500 rpm, but still has decent hp when you need it.

im just looking for an ecu for it otherwise it wouldn't be an issue

I had that same motor last year in my car and i threw it away. lol I was getting well over 600km+ a tank. Yes the ecu your looking for is the P2J-003 for manual OBD2a and the P2J-J11 is OBD2b. I believe JDMland on Derry rd and Bramelea rd has the manual ecu your looking for. He's even got the front clip also, ask for Steve.
