You get what you pay for?
everyone is always saying you get what you pay for when you buy a car part, well i want to switch my 94's headlights to 1 pc projector lights, i dont know if anyone in tcc has bought projectors off of ebay, but they are pretty cheap, any bad experience with these projector headlights? i would get HID's or whatever but they are like 2 or 3 times the cost.

i had these on my EG before... they look sick... i had blue bulbs for the signal/corner too, but they blink white.... i have pic of my EG with it... pm me if you want to see a pic of it...
also, i never experience any problems with it... its very durable even i drive high speed on highway a lot with rocks and stones, no scratches and no cracks.... the only problem is aiming the lights... for some reason, mine were shooting too low... but a lil custom would make it would great... the halo's look sick
go for them, but if you want something more brand name... the TYC ones look great too

getting hids are more money but the output is like 5x better than halogens in projectors. projectors basically shoot out light that is more concentrated in a given area compared to stock reflectors where it is reflected off the mirrors. having projectors does not mean you will get anywhere close to the output of hids. remember, you're still getting the same output but the beam pattern is different. a lot of civics i see on the road with ebay projectors like that often yield even crappier beam patterns compared to stock. if you want something good, go with the TYC 1 piece projectors. most ebay projectors will require you to open them up and seal it with some silicon because the seal on them is crappy. i'm not sure about TYC though. i have the TYC reflectors but didnt bother resealing them and they haven't fogged up on me since. i bought the reflectors 3 months ago. don't just go for something that looks nice, go with something that looks nice and performs well.

i say go retro if ur getting HID other than putting them into this projector. they would not be the same as a projected bmw or acura tl because they're only meant for regular light bulbs and not HID's...u want HID - go retro fit imo.

They're not the best, but you wont really get a problem with them besides that they're crap for driving at night, because the light output even with 100W H3 Bulbs inside really do suck, but just for city driving your fine

alright cool, i saw the TYC ones on ebay they are alittle more pricey, but i know what your sayin about the brand name kinda thing, if im alreayd gonna spend the 150 or whatever, why not just spend the next 150 or whatever it is for some nice performing ones. you say they may fog up, n yeah i dont wanna fool around siliconing stuff. thanks for the input, i think i might go with the 1 piece TYC projectors, but depends, someone said they were crap for driving at night, so i may change my mind, thanks for the input though

The only thing I would suggest anyone do after buying after market light enclosures is that make sure you silicone them or else they will fog up.

I have the EK version of these.. and this is what I found:
BAD:
1) The angel eyes keep burning out (the resistors will fail on you, will have to open up the headlight and replace it)
2) The lights fog up. You need to silicone the **** outta it before use (I wish someone told me)
3) most importantly.. the lights are WEAK! Nighttime driving is difficult (with the bulbs they give you anyway.. i'm putting in SilverStars soon to see if it makes it any better)
GOOD:
Looks good
hope this helps

i had them on my old EG
i sealed them up with clear silicone just for a precaution before installing them... just go around the seam with clear silicone
i wired my angel eyes up separately to a switch in the car so u can use them only when u want to so they dont burn out or melt... just cause they are not a real well made ring...
also, the light output is crap... and they aim real low... so aim them when you get them in and it is a bit better
