Winter Tire Question
Have a friend with a 2002 civic si coupe ., looking for winter rims and tires. the question is she has 185 65r 15 on right now if she is changing to a 14 in rim would she go 185 70r 14 or 185 75r 14 pls let me know ...

Dont worry about the speedo, worry on the price of the tires. Here a link to where you can check the difference in tire size.

Neil, here's a quick calculation to figure out if changing the size effects your speedometer.
Take your stock size: 185/65/15
185 Multiply by 65% divided by 25.4 Multiply by 2 add the rim size 15 = 24.67
As long as you stay within plus or minus 3% it will not effect your speedo!
185/70/14 = 24.20
185/75/14 = 24.93
Stock size: 24.67 minus 3% = 23.93
Plus 3% = 25.41
