i highly doubt they will break.
think about it there are mobile winshield repair guys and they get their windshield off other cars n **** so how exctly would they have happened to got it off without it breakin?

Heres what the local dealership told me.
Peel it off on a hot day or use a heat gun(i say use a hair dryer since its not as hot this not damaging paint. Long story) and slowly peel it off.
Then reapply it after by adding cocking as you reapply the moulding.
If you're gonna have to pay for it anyways you may as well try it on your own 1st.
Not sure if its true or not what the dealer told me but good luck.

lol it's caulking not cocking.........

I don't know if i'd bother doing anything with my windsheild, cuz it might work well for a while, but what if in the middle of winter the seal breaks and i'm getting cold air and water in my car... i'd rather take it to a place where they offer a guarantee or whatever

thanx guys, I just called a bodyshop and they told me that i have to replace the winshield because it will crack when removing it

that sounds fishy..... then how do they put one in without it cracking?

For the most part, they could be right. When I got my car painted, they had to take out the windshield and it cracked. I witnessed it myself. Not all winshield's break upon removal, but there is a strong possiblity that yours will. (if its the same one from 89')

thanx pulovr, my body shop said it's removing the winshield which is tough to do and most likely to crack, but they said if they get it out it's not a problem to reinstall. I'll call up that shop, thanx again
