wanted opinions on a new setup
i got a new bumper and it has a place for 2 mufflers
now i thought bout fiberglassin one of the hole so there is only one muffler hole but i dunt like that.
so i want two BIG mufflers thats gonna look good.
anybody have any ideas? and u guyz think i should angle the mufflers or put em cummin out straight ?
i dunt need a fart car, something that soundz good and would look nice wit 2 mufflers.

You don't really need 2 mufflers persay, but if you like, that's fine.
For something like this, I would recommend 2 OEM mufflers that came from a CRV or an ITR, something with larger diameter than regular Civic and paint the muffler black, and place a polish lip over it. You know, like how a CL looks like. Small enough and yet, noticeable.
2 big mufflers might look a little weird.

Ok well, you should have only 1 MUFFLER, but 2 pipes splitting out. So you would see 2 exhaust tips out the back, but really only 1 muffler because that's what it should be.
Regardless of the kind of exhaust you get, hondas generally make only farty sounds.. Magnaflow is supposed to be decent.. Deep low sound.

its a 2000 four door.
there is only one pipe cummin for the exhaust.
but i wanted one muffler on each side because it would balance out the rear bumper. it's a black widow rear bumper and the holes on the bumper is big so a big muffler would look better.

yes yes... we know what the black widow looks like. really.... I'll be 100% honest w/ you, I would NOT have any exhaust coming from either of those openings. I'd turn down the exhaust and dump it well before the bumper... that way you save yourself the embarassment of ppl asking you why you have 2 - 4 inch exhausts for a 1.6 L single cam 107 hp engine.

You could put two mufflers on your car and some people will think it looks cool and sporty. Anyone who knows the bare minimum about cars though, will laugh at you. Your car only has 1 exhaust header and the 105hp engine that you have barely requires the 2" piping that you already have.
I assume that you are planning on just using an axle-back muffler and not actually redoing the exhaust system entirely. This means that you will have 1 "sports" muffler hooked up to a 2" pipe making farting noises, and another muffler hanging there useless and unconnected.
On the bright side, at least the second non functional muffler will not make the same embarrassing noises as the first one. That way you can hear the people laughing.

I like Nova's idea, use stock mufflers (either CRV or ITR), painted black with nice chrome tips, since your not going for performance (obviously) its a great compromise, great sound (stock sounds great IMO) great look and long life, what more could you ask for..........

you'll be making a fool of yourself once you put dual exhaust on a damn civic. i agree with bb though, consider a different bumper, cause that one is ****in ugly.
and learn to ****ing spell, you look retarded

fack, you people.
civic_hb: i suggest a totally custom 2 1/4" cat-back that splits in two sowewhere around the rear axels, with some of those cheap but sporty-sounding dynomax mufflers you can get at Midas for $40/piece. some nice chrome trim on the tail pipe (no bigger than 2.5") and it'll look legit.
anything else is a) a waste of money b) riced out to the xtreme
