VERY VERY stupid HID question- Kits interchangeable?
hey guys I have a 98 civic SI with a prolument 6000K HID kit. Now I am selling the car and will buy a mazda 3, My question is if I take the kit out of the civic, and buy HID BULBS ONLY for a mazda 3 will the HID work?
or do I need to buy a FULL hid kit for a mazda 3? therefore I should sell the HID I have in my civic with the car?

Well i know u can put any temperature bulb into the harness, but u might want to check that the civic and mazda 3 have the same size bulb, i am not 100% sure but i think that the harness would be different for different bulb sizes...not temperature tho.

IMO its a waste of time trying to salvage your old HID kit, just sell the HID on the forums, and buy a new kit for the mazda 3 and call it a day!~ brand new HID kits dont cost that much these days.
