Hey Everybody!

Ok, I've seen this on a couple of 6th gen civics and was wondering how to do it. Basically when you turn the car lights on, the signal lights come on as well, but how do you turn it off so that it only comes on when you signal.

i was told about this easy quick fix for the problem. Take a piece of eletrical tape and cover one of the ***** on the bulb itself. There should be 2 ***** on the bottom of bulb, i dont know which one to do but cover one and try it, if it doesnt work cover the other one instead.

yeah that's it exactly(cutting hte wire is another way)...but this is an illegal mod

how is it illegal?
Assuming the turn signals are still yellow, right?
I don't have my corners on when I drive, since I changed them to be my turn signals.
The lights that are supposed to be my turn signals are always on, they're my "fogs"

yor CORNER MARKER lights are ther to make other drivers aware of the dimentions of your cars...and if they are o nthe car they are to be used...i dont think many cops will tag you for it but i know thye can..however i would just say the light went out...smae as a headlight

Maybe do it when I get side markers....

yeah covering the **** on the bulb is one way but i don't know if i'd bother, i think it looks decent with the corner lights on, but i think it's illegal either, even if you have side markers....

Maybe I'm just lucky or something but I've had no problems and thats with me having blue sidemarkers(no law on that one, but I'm still waiting for that one...)
