Hi..I just got a HID kit installed using my car's stock harness and now I noticed when ever i turn on the HIDs, I hear about 4 ticking sounds ("tick tick tick tick") coming from around the left side of the steering wheel in the dash..Just wondering if you guys would know why it's been doing that..Thanks for any input guys

sounds like maybe the headlight relay can't take the load?
dunno for sure, but it sounds like a possibility

Yea I was thinking that maybe the hids plugged into the car's stock harness cant take the initial load..Im gonna try to get a relay harness installed..hopefully it will fix the problem..thanks guys

mine used too do that then the bulb blew possible deffective bulb?

I got a relay harness installed and now there is no more ticking..but sometimes the driver side light wont turn on..but it will turn on after I turn it off and on again...

pull the bulb and check for cracks along the bottom espically...almost the same thing that happened too me first i heard that noise then the light sometimes was on sometimes not then it wouldnt go on n e more at all...i pulled it and it was cracked...

exactly same thing happened to my car before, i checked everthing and it was all good, so i though it was the wiring.....what i did is make some custom wiring with a relay, then it's all good for 2 year til now
