sunroof wont open, help!!

sunroof wont open, help!!
okay, i had my sunroof open today
and it refused to close
and i needed to close it quick
so i took my hand, and pushed it from the inside
back into its holder
now it refuses to open, it'll pop up, but not go back
its a 92 civic si, and the motor isnt dead cause i
can see it spinning when i take the little cap off
in the interior....
plz help!

My sunroof is kinda screwed also.
The sunroof slides back fine, only after I push my sunroof up with my hands to get it into slant mode. What would that be? Seems like it's stuck when I try to open it.

u can fix that - there a two little springs or metal wires on each side that probably fell off - thats why u have to use your hand to push up , and then it goes back - i had that problem before
NEILFF--- u might need new cable - sometimes they get warped or they break -
they cost $120 at honda
i have a new one if you need it for $60 - new - i bought from honda but ended up selling the car
