It was the episode where Homer goes to Clown College and then becomes a Krusty the Clown clone. The mob is after Krusty for some money, but they mistake Homer for the real Krusty, as do many others who begin to give Homer free stuff. Homer tries to get a free car and the mob starts shooting at him and the knock a couple bullet holes into the car that Homer is looking at with the car salesman and the conversation goes something like this.
Homer: What are those?
Car salesman guy: Uhm, speed holes! They make the car go faster!
Homer: Really? (or something to that effect)
In the next scene, you see Homer using a pick axe to punch some holes into the family car.
I have gotta stop watching so much tv!
