Unhappy scratched my paint/exterior

Ladies,
Maybe some of you can empathize with me have you ever accidentally scratched your paint with a fingernail. Me well I was having a great time washing my car today doing a really good job, then I go to shammy it dry and my thumbnail slipped off the shammy and scratched my car. i am soooooooooo peeved off. I have never done this before. Anyone else done it and what did you do to fix it? I'm

P.S. I immediately cut my nails totally off (they were fake) and am currently filing them right down:fustrated

try using a claybar as well often surface scratches are removable with a claybar

damn, if you scratched to bare metal with your nails, I think I'd be pretty worried shaking your hand (if ever that occasion arises )

ya, claybar would work too, but just remember to use a good lube with it or you'll really do some damage..
a mix of 50-50 car soap and water should suffice..
what you'll basically be doing is using the clay bar as a wet-sand

Well I guess painting the bathroom isn't enough, I now get to do a full exterior detail on the car. Hopefully the stuff I have will work if not then off to CT I go to get some more supplies.

It is located just above the fuel door, is it possible just to do the surrounding area or should I do the whole panel?

chances are you can just do the local pal..
don't press too hard or anything, just try and eliminate the scratch and blend it in...

I would try Scratch X or Meguiars swirl remover and cleaner wax. It is in the yellow bottle. I have some if you need it.
