Rubber Band around Moonroof

Hey guys,

On the rubber banding around my moonroof, a crack has appeared. Its in the front of the moonroof, and is slowly ripping open. I want to seal it up before it gets big, and obviously before water and whatnot gets in. What can I use to seal it up, and how?

i would either get a new one or get some silicone for now. Same stuff we use to seal headlights.

im sure getting water in a sunroof is probably the worst thing that could happen.w

Anyone else have an opinion? Its a tear in the rubber, I'm wondering if there's a special tape I can put on?

Your probably better off just replacing the seal

i think silicon will get the job done... Of course replacing it is the correct way of fixing the problem.

PS: sunroofs always have drainage lines that run from the sunroof to somewhere around the wheel well.
