RIMS vs. CRAPPY *** WEATHER
wussup all, do u think this shitty weather, all the salt, ice, and snow would do much to rims?? as in scratch them, and chip the paint or anything?? will it fade the silver on the rims??

i have like a polished aluminum rim, i bought them used they were in good condition, i have been using them all winter, i just made sure to wash them regularly, like once a week or something just to keep the salt off, other than that it was fine, but low profile tires and snow = not fun :fustrated i got stuck more than enuf times and my friend with his snow tires just blows past me hehe so i dunno next winter for sure im gettin snow tires and letting the rims sit

I had my rims for 6 year now, never took them off in the winter, and they still look like new. But like Biggy said, I do wash them at least once a week in the winter.
One thing I don't understand is why so many people out there, when taking the rims off their cars in the winter don't use the hubcaps that came with the steel wheels? I see sooo many cars with just the blk steel wheels. What's up with that? It looks horrible.
