What rims... like real rims or steelies. Anyone can do steelies, like Canadian tire or walmart, or whatever... but aluminium rims can only be done at a good wheel shop cuz the weights are different. Stick them on the inside rather than the lip.

labatia 16-Jun-2003 02:47 PM

they are rims not stealies.. black 15's... walmart wouldnt be able to balance them?

bbarbulo 16-Jun-2003 02:51 PM

Nope... not unless you want a weight on the lip of your rim. Or call them out and see if they have stick on weights. Or just go to a rim shop.

labatia 16-Jun-2003 02:51 PM

how much would it be to balance them

bbarbulo 16-Jun-2003 02:52 PM

:call:

I'd personally suggest Wheel and tire zone in mississauga ....

I got an alignment done there and whatched as they worked on that and other stuff they have all the equipment to do the work properly

ohhh and Erin's internet isn't working ... and no it's not like that everyone....

labatia 16-Jun-2003 05:04 PM

bbarbulo 16-Jun-2003 05:06 PM

What do you mean??? I sold my used rims to a very nice lady, and she LOVES them... not everyone that sells their parts is a crook :) I think she got a great deal buying my old rims.

labatia 16-Jun-2003 05:11 PM

k well get back the rims from her so i can buy them from u

Nova_Dust 16-Jun-2003 05:20 PM

Now this Erin girl you guys are talking about, is she Cocasian?

bbarbulo 16-Jun-2003 05:21 PM

LOL, I was just saying... don't give sellers a bad name on here. If you don't trust them or the rims look shoddy, should have had them balanced before you bought them, and have the seller split the balancing with you.

imported_gatherer 16-Jun-2003 05:26 PM

just curious hoiw much did you pay for them?

also being curious how do rims get so messed up ... my racing rims have been beaten on at the track and in solo2 and they are all still balanced.....

bbarbulo 16-Jun-2003 05:30 PM

gatherer, tires can lose their belts, where you get belt shift, lose their weights, get flatspotted, and the rims can get curbed, cracked, bent, dented from potholes, curbs, and sometimes poor manufacturing. I think your rims are small and don't have that problem... :p

imported_gatherer 16-Jun-2003 05:52 PM

your right they are small 13X5.5...:p but hey they are good for the torque ....
