rim refinishing?

i focking kissed a curb today pretty hard and demolished the curb on my way to co op. i felt my heart drop to the ground because i thought i bent everything on the left side since it felt like i hit it so damn hard. i looked in my rear mirror and all you see is white smoke and the curb was gone. lol at first i thought my tires blew but it ran perfectly fine all the way down the street. i put the car up on a hoist and was amazed because i thought i bent everything since i smacked the left front and rear, luckily nothing was bent. i guess my ls mesh rims were super strong and absorbed everything but it took quite a hit. the front is dented in just a little bit but a good 6-8 inch rash on it and the rear has like a 3-4 inch rash on it but not anywhere as bad as the front rim. anyone know what kinda shops refinish rims for a good price in sauga area? i know i should look but i'm just trying to see if anyone has had any personal experience with any shops and how much. i got quoted 100 bucks for 2-3 days to fix the rim but i'm looking to see if i can get them for cheaper.

cheap as in what? i hear they weld on a new piece of alloy to the rim. i don't care if it's shiny or w/e because i'm going to paint over it but just as long as the chunk doesn't come flying off while i'm driving.

Most places charge about 120 a rim, depending on the quality of work your looking for. The shop that did my rims was Percision Rim Repair (Rick), pm me if you want more info, he will hook you up with a good price pending the condition of the rim.

I got mine sanded down and painted at casual customs in burlington. A little far away but they did a great job and a pretty good price.

I went to Precision Rim Repair that Notorious suggested me to go and I had my (1) Volk TE37 repaired there. With mine, the lip was a little bent but the hub wasn't straight. The out come - a straight wheel and I race with them so no problem there.

The finish, that part is not smooth because I asked him not to polish it. Or else, I will have one bronze wheel with polished lip which I didn't want, so he did his best to make things work without shaving off that extra metal. I don't know whether he welded stuff on or whatever, but it works for me.

I know he also does powder coating and wheel painting so when the time comes to repaint the wheels, I will have him smooth out the lip.

No complains from me.

Yeah they repainted my rims as well. I know you were asking for pics, so I decided to make one that shows the transformation lol.

Its a custom paint job on the rims, no rim out there will have this paint job. (Its a white pearl mixed with camellia red pearl (Cars factory color). So in direct sun light you will see a unique two tone effect)

Previous owner of the rims, musta curbed them like 15 times lol.

I bought them used and in that condition, knowing I was going to get them re-done.
