yah the road will just sandblast your paint off in a summer, and they will look like bum all chipped, cuz they are white underneath...get a pro powdercoat done, they will look like brand new, and stay that way.

I went for an oil change last night and saw this guy just spray paint his silver rims white... stuff some paper outside the rims, didn't even clean the rims, and just went for it.... I was speechless....

Ya if it were steelies, sure no problem. But rims? Unless you got a spare set for fun, go to a professional.

billy;

the paint job looks awesome.

but why did you paint the wheels the same colour as your old wheels?

i guess you were looking for a different style or different size.

check your PMs.. and yes they are real.

paint doesn't affect authenticity.

The authenticity comes from forged construction and strenth+weight... not color. I still think they are sweet!! And maybe even less thief-prone

well put bro.. yet another point:

i drove through pure dust, rocks, boulders, and construction yesterday..the rims were a serious mess/nightmare.. i just finished washing the rims and have yet to find ONE flaw whether that be a chip, flake or what have you..

and, who can say they have seen REAL TE-37's in this colour..

it's what you see up close.. some noobs/people will see the rims as basic bronze-ish gunmetal rims.. some REAL appreciative enthusiasts will see that they are VOLK's done in a nice colour that flows with my schematics.

ok enough geek talk..

i like the turnout and if you want to see more pics look at the link i posted above.

haters should stay on honda-tech.com.

Why didn't you add this too..

I recieved this nice PM from egproject a couple of minutes ago.

"Because EVERYONE knows that paint makes your stuff fake..

After all, stickers determine whats real and whats not right?

And BTW, until you educate yourself to make constructive criticisms... pls stop whoring my thread with your pointless comments."

Someone cares far too much what others think..

Personally I could care less..

Curious did you unmount those tires from rims before paint??

Sure doesn't look like it..

Last I looked I have three posts to this thread..

One advising where to take rims for correct refinishing..

Second was a bit of a joke..

Third is to say your a loser for caring what I think and any criticism is constructive..

Good luck selling you picnic table Walmart 56" R1 Drag Wing..
