The only colours allowed to be visible from the front are amber (turn signals and parking lights) and white/amber (headlamps and fog lights).
but i think its still iffy...
how is the light output on the lights you want...

I have been thinking about getting yellow lights, just to get some better lighting than regular OEM ones. I honestly can't see much at night time, the distance is not good enough.

A guy over at ephatch.com had placed some yellow film over the stock lights of his white EP... he did a great job. Looked like a sexy LeMans racer.. but he complained that visibility was complete *** with them.

i cant see it being illegal since most OEM lights on older cars have a yellowish tint to them. I doubt a cop would really notice, unless you're driving like an a**

That yellow film is meant for cars that has HID on it already. If you buddy put it over light housing that only uses OEM bulbs, that's not gonna work.

Yellow light blubs will come out yellow, as yellow as your regular yellow fog lights as seen on some Legends or Previas. Except, you have 2 big *** yellow lights compare to 2 small round fog lights.

As for visibility, they are good in snowing, foggy, and raining condition. As far as output power, I do not know. I wouldn't want to spend 90 bucks just to test them out.

the pic doesn't do them justice but if you look at them in the pic you can still see that they're more yellow than stock ones
