Question about projects/halo housings

I am currently looking to get a set of projector headlights for my 2000 Civic SE.

The ones I am looking at are here:

99-00 Honda Civic Black Halo Projector Headlights by K2Motor-Free Shipping

Has anyone tried those??

Also, are there any online stores in Canada that have things like these because I don't want to have to pay an outrageous shipping+handling fee.

Also, I see that this site has R8 style headlights and they look awesome but of course, they dont make them for my year of civic. Are there any out there that make an R8 style for my year?

Thanks for any help

also, is there any risk in burning the wiring for the headlights? I heard you can because the bulbs/whole setup can draw more power than the wires can handle.. but I don't really believe they would make them and sell them at this kind of price if they did do this.

Those headlights will be fine with stock wiring. Now you will have to rewire the angle eyes. So eithe splicing into parking lights or whatever you choose.
Expect them not to fit absolutely perfect, and might aswell buy them from ebay if you can find them cheaper there.

Also, the projector itself, is not the greatest. Those headlights are very poorly built. If I was you, I would blackhouse the stock ones. But your car, your decision.

The problem with my stock one is that my drivers side headlight is starting to fog over a bit too much now and is starting to take away some of the light output, although my passenger side one is fine.

Like I said, the lens on my drivers side housing is fogged up and is getting worse, I don't have to buy projectors I could just buy a replacement OE housing from somewhere, not sure where I can get it for a good price but I would like to pay less than $100 for it

if you do the black housing headlights with your current ones, you can clean up all the fog and moisture, then seal them better so they dont continue to fog

Its not fog. Its not from inside. All you need to do is wetsand and polish your headlights. That's a common problem with ek headlights. Its all from outside. Plastic lenses do that over time, due to the heat from inside and temperature/debris outside, the lense gets damaged. I've restored number of headlights, if you want I could do it for you, or google for diy. I can even give you step by step instructions.
