problem wit 17" rims
i recently purchase a set of rims and rubber 205/40/17 the problem is that the tires on the back(the passenger side) is rubbing against the fenders. i already change the shocks but it didn't matter. what the hell is wrong, this is pissin me off

you might need to flare the inside of the well a little.
A buddy of mine did that when he changed rims and his new tires were rubbing. He flared them underneath with a screw driver and said that there is a kit or something that you can get that will clean up the flare |
you don't want to "flar" the well you want to "roll"the well
take a bat and rrrrrroll up the rrrrrim |
You may not need to roll them... in the fender...lok for a small tab of metal... this may be your only problem...I had the same thing happen to me when I was running 17's but it wasn't the fender...it was a small bit of metal within hte wheel well...

Camber Kit??
|
he would have to increase negative camber to remove this problem... but that just introduces a new one...
