Pickup truck launched a rock at my windshield

Hey guys i was driving on the highway and a pickup truck launched a pebble or rock at my windshield and i got a nice bullet hole looking crack right in front of my face when driving. its very distracting and i wanna get it fixed or replaced.

1) if it is filled will it still be visible? if yes then question 2.

2) How much is it for a used windshield, seals; a new windshield or an oem honda one and labor?

if its looks as if its been shot by a gun like the movies ur more likely need to get it replaced....
I think Non OEM windshields are about 400 a pop? and not sure on labor
I Know the newer cars like tsx windshields my friend got quoted around 800

I replaced my windshield some time last year.

These guys come to your house, and do it for you on the spot. It takes them literally 5-10 mins, and they're done. It cost me approx. $300 with taxes.

Here's the number if you're interested. 905-781-8506

btw, I've had no problems with my windshield at all, no leaks or anything. I've driven my car through this whole winter, and I've taken it through many car washes. They do a good job.

you can get some stuff to fill it from canadian tire for like 3 bucks.. you'll still be able to see it but it cleans it up a bit and will buy you some time to save some cash for a new windshield..

Anyone know if quality of glass really matter? thickness etc????

krown was going to charge me $220 for just my windshield at the time. Plus installation, and add taxes to that afterwards. It would have worked out to be around $300, which is what I paid for my windshield.

This was sometime last year. So how's that paying too much for a windshield?? Plus I don't live close to krown lakeshore, so I saved some money on gas, and saved time as well.

I applaude you for using the search, but you really need to look at the date of things.
Most small shops, as mention, call junk yards and get them that way.. Should only be about $300, maybe 400 with the install.
