like what do i i do first? sand? then prime?how many coats? then prime again? ..whatkind of paint for prime etc. what if i want to paint it the same colour as my car?

there is plastic filler you can use to help with the scratches... so you sand off the rough stuff, then apply the plastic filler. then sand again to shape, then hit it with 400. then apply adhesion promoter. the OEM ABS bumper is NOT primed, it's straight paint on well prepared ABS. However, since you are using plastic filler, the texture of the surfaces will be different, so I recommend using a thin coat of primer (sand with 600). Then apply base coat, just make sure your paint has flex agent in it. Finally, clear coat it all. Remember, the thicker the paint, the easier it will chip!!!!!
