imported_trackhack 11-Nov-2004 07:40 AM

I second that notion, IMO it looks much better w/ a black grill

Nova_Dust 11-Nov-2004 09:31 AM

White grille looks strange... That's just me.

black grille... I nearly killed the guy who painted my NEW OEM bumper all silver w/o masking the grille. I was like "are you an idiot???? do you not know what a Civic is supposed to look like. dumb****" he couldn't appologise fast enough, and THEN he wanted to paint the grille black!! then I really wanted to kill him... I chewed him out awhile longer about paint thickness and paint chipping. My grille is still silver, I haven't gotten around to picking up ANOTHER new oem bumper

maybe u should have been a bit more specific when u first went there. some people prefer having that part painted, like me :)

I have to tell him how to make a repair w/o it looking like a repair. I didn't ASK for any custom work, therefore meaning I wanted it STOCK. Maybe I'll go tomorrow and kill him :D haha all he was doing was saving 20 minutes of masking... cuz GOD forbid he spends 20 extra minutes doing a GOOD job on a $3000 repair.

If you go to a doctor with two fingers chopped off, do you expect to have to tell him to put the index finger next to your thumb, and the middle finger in the middle?? or would you expect that to be understood?

I agree, if you shell out 3 grand, you should expect it be handled professionally. I'd be swearing a blue streak....:nods:

alrite, i see what u mean man. I just figured u were getting a new front bumper repainted, not 3000 in repairs cuz then you shoouldnt ahve to tell him how to paint evreything.
