Need help with HID install

Hi all,

Below you see two pictures. A basic HID kit, and the lights that I want to replace. What connector goes where?
In the wiring diagram for the HID, it references a relay, but I know I don't really need one. Any help would be really appreciated.
I want to install this kit for my gf tomorrow, as her stock lights really do not privide enough illumination for night driving.

All help would be greatly appreciated.

you should get a relay harness, but it will run the way princephan posted

Thanks for the advice guys, got the kit in very quickly this morning.

Can you tell me, what is the advantage of running this over a relay?

its mainly so ur factory wiring harness wont get burn.. but it depends on if your car day time running lights run on high beam or not..

Ok, can you give me a bit more detail on this. My gf's civic (the one I installed on) has a separate line going for the DRL and a separate line going for the night lights. I left the DRLs alone, and plugged into the night lights. I have the same kit that I want to install on my bro's 2009 civic, and its the exact same setup....

This way, the DRL lights are unaltered, and when she switches on her night lights, the DRLs go off, and the HIDs come on.

From what I understood, the current draw on the stock lights is actually higher than that required for the HIDs so, I'm a bit worried now as to your comment that the factory harness can get burned out...and wondering what you meant by it.
