hey guys my headlights are turning yellow and foggy. I tried to use clr, plast -x, and wet sanding. any tips on how to get rid of it ?
besides buying new headlights =)

do you have high watt bulbs in your car? high watt means more heat, and more heat equals damaged plastic... premanently of course.

j/k so is it on the inside only? I assume so, but there really isn't anything you can do about that. I was going to say sanding but you tried that already. Maybe you can try soaking them in CLR overnight or even OxyClean

i have some knock off headlight bulbs hirs or soemthing like that i guess i can try the soaking over night tho =) thenx

acetone (finger nail polish remover) worked on mine, but mine were barely a little cloudy, and it was on the outside..

well i havent tried it...but MX-6's have this problem and most of the guys on the MX-6 site said they use Oxy-Clean...you know, the stuff to get out stains...anyways you can buy it at wal-mart, might be worth a shot
