Ok and then you get another point of view : Alot of the EK's now a days expecially Si-R's are beat on, they are old, nearing the 10 year old mark, RUST, expensive to insure and even more than the new Si, Easily a high risk theft vehicle (the worry to some people isn't worth it)! +++++
Si = TORQUE LOL not much but more than 107 (Si-R), Interior is far superior to any of the EK's interior's, WARRANTY!, And lets face it the new Si handles better than the 99-00 Si-R ,stock - stock hands down. Mac or wish a proper suspension setup on either suspension system can be had. Another thing, K>B lets face it, K's are newer, respond well to bolt on's, more power stock etc etc. Now IMO the new civic's look better than the EK Si-R's.
I had an Si-R, if I had a choice id take the new Si hands down.

I prefer the older ek cause they are lighter, simpler, and lack the intrusive, annoying electronics that interfere with the drivers inputs (e-throttle, etc...). The list goes on.
Everyone has their preferences.
