a little, common problem
condensation in one of my headlights. why does this happen?
and how do i get rid of it? i heard to use a hair dryer, but wont it just come back again? should i drill a little hole in the back of the housing for the headlight? |
it happens due to difference of temperature inside and outside of the housing. most, if not all, headlight housings have moisture outlets in the back (i know 96-00 civics have two in each) so you dont need to drill any holes.
check if that L shaped rubber thingy on the hole is blocked by some debris or not. just park the car in some direct sunlight and the moisture should go away. |
i would also recomend resealing around the headlight

OMG Kieran hi!!!! :wavey: :D
ya seal your headlight and check for leaks around the rubber gasket that goes around the wiring harness. don't drill any holes damnit, the headlights are supposed to be sealed. |
