lighting problems...

alright heres the deal

i am no good with electricity at all, lol but i ned to figure out whats going on with my lights before i bring the car our of storage...

right rear brake light only works sometimes... and my passenger cornerlight and signal isnt working but the bulb is fine cause i have changed it a few times...

everyones gonna say check your wires i know but has this happened to anyone before?? and OTHER suggestions??

check ur fuse

Check for voltage at the wires not the socket for the bulb. The Socket might be correded and not giving full contact. AFAIK the fuse will control both both turn signals so i dont think thats the problem and when a fuse blows the component stays off

thanks, i will see if the sockets are corroded, i should have thought of that one...

that would give irregular connections

follow the wires to the harnesses, sometimes they become loose and work when they want. I had the same problem with my wipers

check underdash and underhood fuses, look for corrosion on the connectors and make sure nothing is grounding out.
