Just painted valve cover, what do you think?

Just painted valve cover, what do you think?

just painted the valve cover, the old paint was chipping off so decided to repaint it, took me about 1 hour to remove all of the chipped paint, prep it, power wash it, then repaint. Thought about painting the honda logo but didnt have black,red, or chrome paint around so meh... Drove it around for awhile to bake it. And done. so what do you think?

looks good, what happened by the left top bolt?
also did you prime it? or just sand/paint?

that looks like a huge steaming pile of horse ****. at least sand it before painting it. also wash your engine bay if you wana show somehitng off.

What kind of paint did you use. It looks sick man. you just need to clean up the engine bay like everyone said Looool.

Sorry but I am in the same boat my VC needs to be redone..But why not clean the engine bay as step #1???

Clean engine bay then paint the VC= done

Why paint the vc and put in back into a filthy engine bay?

theres no bubbling, looks like it wasnt prepped right and there was some oil/grease on it when he painted it.

looks better then stock..

well thats what i was going to say, i actually took every heat shield off my car cuz they rust and rattle. but i have also seen them polished and it makes the bay look clean.

lol...I can't remember if the heatshield is still on there. I think Defcon took it off.

This what happened when i had the motor bay finnished....now the motor looks like crap...lol

yea to me they are useless but i mean its something that just requires time just to spruce up the bay a bit.

well this is a beater car so i didnt really care about getting it done right or cleaning the dam engine bay, i bought some valve cover spray from canadian tire for like 8 bucks they only had one type so forgot the brand name cuz i returned the item and got my money back ahahah. the cars not even licensed for the road at the moment, cuz it was a beater. got my summer car out. and yes gallagher i think it doesnt look good, but better than stock, what it was before. Not trying to show off ****, hahaaha....
