integra projector for ek retrofit ?

I'm planning to do my first time headlight retrofit on my EK so I'm looking for cheap projectors nothing more than $100. Integra's headlight is the first pop up in my mine, but I never heard anyone who has done their retrofitting by integra's projector..........

Just wondering is it possible to separate the projector and the headligh housing on 94-00 integra?

WTF.. you DONT do a retrofit by putting in a Halogen based projector (Integra projectors) into anything. And then putting HID through it lol.

You buy ACTUAL OEM HID projectors. But since you, like so many people on this site, don't want to spend the money it requires this will most likely not be an option for you.

Your supposed to buy TSX, S2K, BMW HID projectors but they are minimum of $200 a pair. Plus you need the proper bulbs and ballasts.

Might as well just buy a **** plug and play kit and slap it in like so many others before you..

lol...I was just thinking that would be a cheap projector but I forgot It's halogen base

It's not necessary to be good looking since my ek is almost a 12 yr old car, all I want is getting a better sight at night

Yes you can seperate projector from housing on a integra but the projector has a box looking thing attach and u cant seperate that from projector.. don't use TL projector there too big i had to cut a hole in the back of my ek housing to make it fit... tsx and 5 series bmw projector fit fine and i got a 2003 bmw 5 spare projector but am not selling peace

you can so seperate them you'll just need some tools to do so ! its like he said, hes not looking to spend much on them. Nothing is impossible, just beccause you guys like to spend hundreds of dollars on your headlights dosen't mean that we all do ! All my headlights are, are just cheap ebay projectors that are meant to have HID's in them and they work just fine for me, I was going to do the Integra retrofit before i got my projectors and i had the Integra headlight ready to be cut apart from the highbeam so it is possible to do that rerofit i'd say go for and post pics. when your done !!!!

LOL no one said it couldn't be done.. but if read my last post you know that if u remove the box off the integra projector all that's left over is the the lens and then you won't have a projectors left
