Install 99-00 Projetors...

I have searched and searched not only on this site but on others as well but I have only found one write up for my generation civic and it isn't that much help....
I am wondering where the red and black wires are to connect? I thought I read somewhere that there is a way to connect the wires so that the ring isn't on all day in turn burning it out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to connect them tonight! :cheers:

Take the harness to the signal light and find the 12 volt wire that is only activated when your marker light system is on (first click on the headlight switch) Run the power to the angel eye to that power line from the signal light. Now, the ring will only turn on if you turn on your marker lights.

Cheers,
Buddah.

Does any one know why one light would be taking more power then the other? My friend told me yesterday when I drove up to his house that my lights flickered and one light looked like it took most if not all the power to one light? Any reason for this? a loose wire maybe?

mabie one light is not alighned corectly . If one is shining down and the other in your face, one wil look brighter than the other

hey if i were you grab a relay and hook it up to the battery, you'll regret it when the led's go out. its not a pita to fix but imo not worth it, do it right the first time and just forget about it, i had to fix my halo rings already was pretty cheap since i did it myself and i got stronger led's at teh same time. however, now its hooked up to a relay so i can get constant poewr off of the battery but switched on when my corners come on.

-> good luck.
