i always park my ride in my garage , and have 2 cars parked behind me during the night so my car is not going n e where less they pick it up over the other cars lol...
but not everyone has the bonus of a garage i guess... also locking nuts are almost useless...

there are only a couple styles of locking nuts, n hell prob every thef has they key for thee very few that are out there, as easy as they are for you to get the keys it is the same for the theives...

98 percent of the time NO thief will steal rims off the lot right there because the amount of traffic going back and forward is waaayyyy to much and they dont want to get caught. they will just steal your damn car and take it somewhere else and take it off. IMO just another waste of money.
Well this may be your opinion, but I do think a tilt sensor would help.

My car was left on blocks right in front of my damn house. They jacked the car up, and just took the rims off.

Here's what my car looked like sometime in October '04, at 7am in the morning.

so you had a tilt sensor? and they still jacked it?
or you didnt have it and wish you did?

p.s tilt sensors have very easy ways of not being able to work.

set the sensitivity very high, some alarms if you just tap the car slightly it goes off... or get a proximity sensor...

There are real PRO thiefs that can hope in a car pin point the fuel cut off switch get rid of it..disconnect the alarm and start the car in under two minutes..in the end if some chump wants your car he probably wont get it if you put enough protection but if a professional wants it..he will get it regardless of anything

professionals arent stealing 17" rims so i'm not worried about a pro, they are stealing other **** worth a hell of alot more then my rims. so basically, its the thug newbie's that would be likely to jack my rims. theft at home is not really a problem, but theft when parked for like a movie or at work would be when i'd be worried about them being stolen.
