Hood rubber seal thing

That strip of rubber at the tip of the hood where it meets the lights and grill to ward off the elements is missing from my hood.
Anyone know how I can do a cheap fix/diy? I was thinking of finding some sort of rubber tubing but I don't know what size to get since I don't have the original to compare, checked out the junkyard and only found a 98 civic hood rubber seal.. could I use that for the 99 hood (should be relatively similar)?

yea but the front end components are different, so the hood is slightly different too. But I guess as long as the length of the rubber is fine then I can tack it on somehow.

the rubber is attached to the hood by little plastic nipples so even if its slightly different you would be able to make it work, if its too long then you can just cut it off.
