HID problem

Hey guys one of my headlights won't light up so I wanted to know if there's a way to check if it's the ballast or bulb that's the problem

I also wanted to know where I can buy these parts I have a 9000k hid kit

Well tomorrow I'm going to swap the ballasts and see if it's the bulb or the ballast that's broken generally tho how much do bulbs cost? And where can I get them? (pmall?)

btw hid kits are basically a bulb and ballastnothing else can usually go wrong with them with regular use?

seems that this problem is worse than i thought

i just noticed that my WHOLE left side is dead the only thing thatll work on my left side is when i signal left however my side marker doesnt blink at all and my headlight is gone and none will light up when i turn on my lights (parking lights)

im starting to think that this is more than the ballast or the bulb would any of the fuses be the problem

check the fuses. left/right headlights have their own seperate fuses.
also the plug'n play kit still has grounds. atleast mine does. trace wires off the balast and you should see a negative lead of it.

okay so i checked the fuses and the left headlight lowbeam fuse is giving me nothing

i tried grounding it by slightly opening the plug (connection between ballast and stock headlight wiring harness) and touching the ground wire on the plug to the engine ground bolt but nothing

so now i think scrid3r is right however my running light fuse is perfectly fine and my turn signal fuse was replaced just recently and is working

so if those two fuses are fine why does my left side blinker not turn on when parked?

and also when i turn left my side marker doesnt blink?

i might need to get professional help with this one anyone know a good electrical mechanic i dont care how far i need to drive i just want a mechanic that knows his **** and can fix this problem

Check if there is power to the plug, are the singnal bulbs still good? make sure bulb is not burn. if there's power to the plug, that the stock wiring should be fine, just put your normal H4 bulb in,make sure everything is working order first, if u think the factory wiring has problem, if u need any help on getting parts, let me know, I can provide bulbs or ballast to you.
