this is the best answer IMO
it all depends on the cops mood at that time and you can do nothing.

so get projector headlights and drive with confidence.

Granted this is not for Canada by any means though I think it gives a clear definition as to why they are illegal.

more and more cars getting them stock now.

I had mine for about 3 years 8000k never been pulled over for them.
